Serenity Charters specialises in private charter experiences tailored around you. From relaxed Broadwater cruising and sunset charters to whale watching, celebrations, romantic escapes, corporate gatherings, and bespoke full-day experiences. Every charter is designed to suit your vision.

How many guests can Serenity accommodate?

Currently Serenity caters for:
up to 12 guests for inshore experiences
up to 6 guests for offshore and whale watching charters
This smaller guest capacity allows for a far more relaxed, personal, and intimate experience on the water.

Can we customise our charter?

Absolutely.

No two Serenity experiences are ever the same. Whether you’re planning a Birthday celebration, Hen's party, romantic sunset cruise, private celebration, catered lunch, swim stop, or a fully curated luxury experience, we work closely with you to tailor the day around what you want.

Question 5

Is whale watching seasonal?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Whale watching experiences are seasonal and generally operate during the annual humpback whale migration period along the Gold Coast July to October.

Availability depends on conditions and charter scheduling.

Question 6

Where does Serenity depart from?

Accepted Answer

Departure locations may vary depending on your charter type and conditions on the day.  You can generally choose between wharfs at Paradise Point, Broadwater Parklands, Sundale Bridge, Muriel Henchman boat ramp or Marine Stadium the Spit. Boarding details will be confirmed with you prior to your experience.

How much does it cost?

To private hire Serenity it costs $400 per hour plus GST, with generally a 3 hour minimum experience.  However, we are happy to discuss and personalize your experience.

What should we bring?

We recommend bringing:
sunglasses
sunscreen
towel and swimmers (if swimming)
jacket for cooler evenings
food and drinks if BYO

Most importantly: good company and relaxed vibes. We can discuss what to bring when we tailor your Serenity experience.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Guests are welcome to BYO food and beverages onboard.
We can also assist with:
catering options
grazing boards
private chefs
special occasion styling
depending on the type of experience you’d like to create.

We supply the BBQ, Esky's and Ice.

What happens if the weather is poor?

Accepted Answer

Guest safety and comfort always come first.

If conditions are considered unsafe or unsuitable, your charter may be rescheduled. Light rain alone does not necessarily mean cancellation, as Serenity has both indoor and covered outdoor areas onboard.

Can we play our own music?

Accepted Answer

Of course.

Serenity has onboard sound capabilities, allowing you to connect your own playlists and create the atmosphere you want for your day on the water. You have access to Spotify through our tablet or you can Bluetooth your own music to our sound system.

Can we swim during the charter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, weather and conditions permitting.

Swim stops can be incorporated into many inshore charter experiences. Your skipper will recommend suitable locations based on conditions and your preferred style of experience.

Is there a toilet onboard?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Serenity features a private onboard bathroom with toilet, shower, and hot water for guest comfort.

Question 14

Does the boat have sleeping accommodation?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you have access to a double bed and two single beds during your cruise.  In addition to an indoor club lounge dining area and Kitchenette facilities, making the vessel ideal for relaxed full-day and extended experiences.

Is Serenity family friendly?

Yes. Serenity welcomes guests of all ages and can tailor experiences for families, couples, friendship groups, and corporate gatherings alike.

Do you have water toys?

Yes, we have two high quality paddle boards available for use whilst on your charter. We also have tender available which access can be discussed during the planning phase.
